Ripple CTO Emeritus David Schwartz posted a technical update about his XRP Ledger hub on X, saying it had more than 550 peer connections, a median round-trip latency of about 200 milliseconds and around 110,000 incoming messages per second. One user ignored the network data and asked for an update on XRP’s price instead. Schwartz replied plainly that XRP was trading near $1.308, up 2.4% over 24 hours. The exchange quickly divided the community. Some users mocked the price question, with one telling others not to waste Schwartz’s time and another saying he does not control the price. Others accused him of laughing at holders. Others stayed bullish, with one account predicting a climb to $2.80 to $3. XRP has spent more than ten weeks between $1.25 and $1.55.
